Walt Disney World Resort is a wonderful place to visit during the holiday season.  You can see beautiful holiday decorations at Hollywood Studios.  Or go to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.  Or go to the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs.  The list goes on and on.

But the parks aren’t the only place to get in the Christmas spirit.  We’ve talked about the decorations at the Beach & Yacht Club.  But there is another hotel with wonderful holiday decorations, and that is Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Every year there is an amazing Gingerbread House in the lobby of the Grand Floridian.  In true Disney fashion, it is a masterpiece.  It is an incredible life-size gingerbread house.  It has incredible attention to detail and even hidden Mickeys included!  You can even buy delicious food while you visit.  My family has loved stopping by and seeing this beautiful display.

But this year we had the pleasure of being present for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.  This included an appearance by all the chefs who worked on it, a great singing performance and even Sleeping Beauty!  You can see it yourself in our video:

So if you have not booked a stay at Disney World yet this holiday season, you will definitely want to stay at the Grand Floridian.  The cheapest way to do that is through David’s Vacation Club Rentals.  You’ll be able to stay at the Grand Floridian for a fraction of the price.  We go over how you can book a stay there here:
