My family loves visiting the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee any time of the year. It is such a beautiful hotel with such a great location. And how many hotels have a duck march?
But the first time my family visited in December, we realized we had stumbled upon something truly special. Here we thought that the Peabody Hotel could not get any more beautiful. And then we saw the hotel with Christmas decorations.
First of all, I have to start with the Christmas tree in the Peabody’s lobby. It is one of the most beautiful Christmas trees I have ever seen.
And the lights on the Christmas tree are so beautiful.
Gingerbread Village
Another reason I love visiting the Peabody Hotel is for its gingerbread houses! The Gingerbread Village is an amazing piece of art designed by their chefs. They spend hundreds of hours on it, and the result is amazing!

Christmas Brunch
Peabody’s has a great Christmas brunch in the Grand Ballroom. They serve a lavish meal with beloved holiday entrees, side dishes, and desserts.
Last year, the brunch menu was really great, too, with food like:
- A seafood Display with Salmon, Sushi, Scallops & Shellfish
- Carving Station with Prime Rib, Molasses Glazed Ham & Roasted Lamb
- Southern Fried Chicken
- Braised Beef Tips and Pork Loin
- Breakfast Buffet with Fresh Waffles & Made-To-Order Omelets
- Salad Bar with Caesar Salad & assorted garden salad items & dressings
- Domestic and International Cheese Display
- Dessert Display with house-made ice creams, pies & bite-sized cakes from the Peabody Pastry Shop
