This immersive, glittering display of one million holiday lights stretches across 10 acres of an outdoor winter wonderland. So that is a lot of Christmas lights. Winter City Lights has a 1.5-mile path you can walk through of beautiful holiday lights. Holiday music will be playing while you walk through it. There are creative and seasonally appropriate holiday light displays, such as Candy Cane Lane and the Ice Palace. This makes for a really neat holiday experience.
But that’s not the only thing at Winter City Lights. A 52-foot-high Christmas tree is programmed with sophisticated light shows and holiday music. There’s also a 200-foot diameter canopy of Christmas lights draping from the decorated Christmas tree, which makes for a magnificent overhead display.
So there are a lot of decorations you can take in. But you can also get quite active here. Because there is an 8-lane Snow Tubing Ride!
Speaking of snow, you can feel assured there will be snow at this winter event. Because there will be a Winter City snow storm every 15 minutes! Their bubble-based snow is quite similar to actual snow.
And if you worry all this will make you cold, don’t worry. There will be multiple bonfires at Winter City Lights. You can make s’mores, eat a hot barbecue sandwich, or drink cocoa or hot chocolate here, too.
Speaking of treats, this event has a good selection of food and drinks, too. This includes funnel cakes, fried Twinkies and Oreos, burgers, fries, pizza, and more.
