Nightfall at Filoli is a nighttime Halloween event at Filoli Historic House & Garden in the San Francisco Bay Area. Save money on a ticket with a coupon.
Now, you may have visited Filoli Historic House & Garden in Woodside, California during the day. You may have noticed the house is frozen in time and you enjoy its elegance and place in history.
But at night? The mansion is something entirely different.
Your evening at Nightfall at Filoli starts innocently enough, of course. You’ll head to the The Meadow Harvest Party, where you’ll find live music, games, and food and drinks. There are also thousands of pumpkins on display. It seems like an ordinary, albeit fun, Halloween nighttime festival.
But then you’ll notice the mansion behind you isn’t quite right. And that is because a witch has cast a curse on Filoli. Dinner guests have disappeared and dolls have come alive.
You’ll follow clues from the mansion to a glowing Redwood Trail in the woods that’s been enchanted by the curse. A thousand glowing jack-o-lanterns and glowing trees light up the trail.
Hidden beneath the Redwoods is a Witches’ Village. A giant cauldron looms over the Witches’ Village. A tarot reading will predict your fate.
New this year at the event is the Haunted Railway. Watch eight miniature trains loop around 1,000 feet of track. While the premise of the story is spooky, this is a kid-friendly event.
Nightfall at Filoli takes place from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM with the last entry at 8:30 PM. It is open each night except for today (October 8th). The event runs through November 1, 2026.
Some dates are selling out, so you’ll need to act quickly if you want to get a ticket to this popular event. And if that doesn’t motive you enough to buy a ticket right now, I’ve got another motivating factor: that discount ticket I mentioned earlier!
