I recently took a trip to the St. Augustine, Florida area because I wanted to see the historic district’s beautiful holiday lights on the St. Augustine Night of Lights Trolley Tour.  I also decided I wanted to get in a trip to the beach at the same time, so I chose Quality Inn & Suites St. Augustine Beach, and I’m really glad I did. My whole family enjoyed the stay for a lot of reasons.  Here are my 7 favorite reasons:

1Location

Quality Inn & Suites is not an oceanfront resort but it is right across the beach and is just a short walk to the beach.  It was also a quick drive to the Historic District, so it makes a perfect location for a trip where you want to enjoy the ocean and enjoy all that St. Augustine has to offer

2Price

Given the great location, it’s really great that Quality Inn & Suites St. Augustine Beach is so reasonably priced.  If you purchase your room at least 7 days in advance through the Choice Hotels website, you can save up to 20%, making it even more affordable.

3Room size

Given the price of the hotel, you will be pleasantly surprised by how large the rooms are.  My family is not exactly light packers, but we were able to have plenty of room.

Quality Inn St. Augustine Beach has great features to make your stay betterIn addition to the rooms being large, there were a lot of great things in the room other than just the beds, including a large refrigerator, a microwave, a table (so if you wanted to save money on food, you could bring food and eat at the table), large TV and a good number of outlets if you need to charge your electronics.

5Decor/Atmosphere

If you think this is just a generic chain hotel, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised that the hotel definitely has a St. Augustine vibe, from the architecture to the trees outside to even the beautiful pictures up in the room!

6Free breakfast

A lot of the other hotels I looked at staying in did not offer a free breakfast, so it was really nice to have this as that can save you a lot of money on the trip.

7Parking

There was plenty of parking around the hotel and parking was free as well, which you don’t always expect from a hotel that’s in such a prime location.
