Gale South Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton
Built in 1841, the Gale South Beach & the Regent Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, were 2 trend-setting hotels in South Beach. These two venues of Tropical Art Deco fashion were designed by architect L Murray Dixon, a pioneer of the Art Deco style.
Dixon’s innovations have earned recognition in the National Register of Historic Places. In the 1960s, these sister properties were permanently linked by a bridge. Today, their South Beach splendor shines brighter than ever.
In the lobby, you will find deep wooden hued floors and panels of imported oak. Light pours from classic chandeliers and 1940s sconces with sunlight streaming in outlined by black window frames.
The guest rooms convey a lavish boutique appeal. Bedroom walls are decorated with black photo frame collages depicting the splendor of the 1940s. Guest rooms vary in size but feature mutual design themes. You’ll find vintage-inspired furniture, Italian accents, and marble bathroom appointments as well as state of the art technology.

Their restaurant, Dolce Italian, opened in 2013. It won “Best New Restaurant In America” on Bravo TV’s national restaurant competition for serving the best authentic Italian food in Miami.
