The Drake Chicago, a Hilton Hotel, is a member of the Historic Hotels of America and it is listed in the National Register of Historical Places.

The famed front doors of The Drake opened on New Year’s Eve in 1920, to 2,000 of Chicago’s most distinguished citizens. The Drake became Chicago’s high society’s first choice in opulence.

During the 1930s and 1940s, celebrities like Bing Crosby, George Gershwin, Walt Disney, Charles Lindbergh and many more would sip cocktails while listening to Herbie Kay in the Gold Coast Room. In the 1950s, newlyweds Marilyn Monroe and Joe Dimaggio carved their initials in the wooden counter of the Cape Cod Room.

Today, The Drake Hotel offers the grandeur of its past and the modern amenities to fit today’s high society.

Real Chicago experiences await at the Drake Hotel this Easter.

You can enjoy a culinary celebration at The Drake’s festive Easter Elegance Brunch. Seating will be every thirty minutes from 9 am to 2:30 pm.

The Steve Biossot Quartet will be performing live throughout the day. In between dancing, enjoy the amazing brunch. There will be an open bar, including Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. For the family, you can get a complimentary family portrait by professional photographers.

Children can go hippity hoppity to their buffet of bite size delicacies and desserts prepared especially for them. There will be a movie room with kid friendly movies. Other activities include arts and crafts, caricature artist, balloon specialist and face painting.
