Founded in 1642, Montreal is the largest city in the Canadian province of Quebec. It is located on an island in the Saint Lawrence River. The triple peaked hill in the heart of the city is Mount Royale. Montreal was named after it.
People in Montreal enjoy hiking, biking, boating, fishing and skating. Stroll down St. Laurent Blvd. and Mount Royal Avenue to find some of the city’s graffiti. Go to the Old Port and ride the Ferris Wheel or go ziplining. Or take a private car tour and see it all!
Like most fun destinations, Montreal can get expensive. There are, however, deals to be had if you look long and hard enough. That’s what we did and we found these hotels in Montreal that you can book for under $100 a night. That’s in U.S. dollars. The rate you’ll see includes taxes and fees. All these hotels were rated 7, 8 or 9 on a scale of 1 to 10.
