Planning a trip to Six Flags Over Texas?  If you are looking for a hotel, I’m sure you’d love to snag one near Six Flags with an indoor pool.

After all, an indoor pool can be a great addition to a trip.  It’s like an outdoor pool but better.  It means no matter what the weather is (whether it’s raining, way too hot, etc.), you’ll have something fun to do indoors.  And you won’t even have to bother with sunblock.

So we came up with our list of the best hotels near Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas that have an indoor pool.

1. Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-Arlington

I love staying at any Homewood Suites because you get so much space.  Their spacious suites are great for families that want to spread out.  Or families where the adults want to have a room separate from the kids.

Homewood Suites has other great features, too, like pet-friendly rooms and a free breakfast.  And then of course there is the location of the hotel.  Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-Arlington is less than a mile from Six Flags.  So that makes visiting the theme park super convenient.

It’s also about four minutes from Global Life Filed if you want to catch a Rangers game and six minutes from AT&T Stadium if you want to catch a Cowboys game.

You can find a great price for the hotel here.

2. Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas-Arlington North-Entertainment District

Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas-Arlington North-Entertainment District is about six minutes from Six Flags.  This hotel also has an indoor pool, a hot free breakfast available for hotel guests, and pet-friendly rooms.  And while it may not be as close to Six Flags as Homewood Suites or have huge suites, it is more affordable.  You can find out how affordable here.

3. Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Arlington/Entertainment District

Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Arlington/Entertainment District is also about six minutes from Six Flags.  It does not have a free breakfast and is actually a bit more expensive than the last two options.  But it does however have an onsite restaurant.  And it is a bit closer to the ballparks, being just three minutes from Global Life Field for Rangers games and just four minutes from AT&T Stadium for Cowboys games.

4. Holiday Inn Arlington NE-Rangers Ballpark

Holiday Inn Arlington NE-Rangers Ballpark is just around a seven-minute drive from Six Flags.  It also has an indoor heated pool and hot tub with access to a private patio.  It’s also about five minutes from Global Life Field if you want to catch a Rangers game and AT&T Stadium if you want to catch a Cowboys game.

And you can easily get to some of these locations via Arlington’s complimentary seasonal Trolley to Six Flags over Texas, Hurricane Harbor, and Globe Life Field.

They also have an onsite restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner where kids eat free!

5. Crowne Plaza Suites Arlington, an IHG Hotel

Crowne Plaza Suites Arlington, an IHG Hotel is also about a seven-minute drive away from Six Flags and convenient to Rangers Games and Cowboys games, too.  The hotel recently (in 2021) went through a major renovation and now guest rooms are even better.  For example, every guest room has a high-end, full-size, pull-out sleeper sofa.  The hotel also has an onsite restaurant that’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  And the hotel is quite beautiful inside.
