Busch Garden Williamsburg has a great Sesame Street themed Halloween event designed specifically for children ages 9 and under, called The Count’s Spooktacular. It takes place on Saturdays & Sundays from October 5th to October 27th and is included in your admission.
It has a silly and not too spooky atmosphere, which is great for young children who can celebrate the fun of Halloween without having to be too scared. Please note that if you worry your kids might get too scared, make sure they leave before 5:45 PM. That is when decorations for Busch Gardens’ more scary Halloween event aimed towards older children and adults, Howl-O-Scream, go up.
So what makes The Count’s Spooktacular so great? Here are 5 reasons why I know your kids will love this event:
1. Trick-or-Treat Trail
What’s Halloween without trick-or-treating? Your kids can follow the trick-or-treat trail in Sesame Street Forest of Fun and visit different stations for some great trick-or-treating fun.
2. Costume Parade
If your kid is going trick-or-treating they’ll want to wear their costume, right? Well, not only will they get to wear their costume, but they’ll be able to join their favorite Sesame Street characters (who will be wearing costumes, too!). They also get to participate in a Costume Parade!
3. Countdown to Halloween Show
This is a great interactive Halloween show that kids will love singing and dancing through!
4. Hay Maze
You can enjoy taking your kids through a family-friendly hay maze.
5. Photo Opps
Not only can you get great photos of your child having fun in their Halloween costume, but you can also snap great pictures of your kid with their favorite Sesame Street characters!
