Snow on Christmas might sound good in a song. But let’s face it, being really cold is not a lot of fun.
You know what is fun, though? How about lying on a beach? Or swimming in a pool? How about racing down a water slide?
How about swimming alongside dolphins? Having a meet and greet with sea lions? Or snorkeling alongside exotic tropical fish?
How about doing outdoor sports you can’t do during a snowstorm, like golf or tennis?
These are just some of the things you can do at Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas. Atlantis is an amazing luxury resort with 5 miles of white sand beaches, fourteen pools, and the world’s largest open-air marine habit with 50,000 aquatic animals, among other amazing amenities.
Atlantis is a wonderful hotel to stay in any time of the year. But perhaps it is more special around the holiday season. And not just because of the weather, though that helps (average lows in December are after all around 66 degrees with highs around 80 degrees).
No, I’m actually referring to all the wonderful decorations and festivities at Atlantis Bahamas during the holiday season. For example, every hotel and the Marina Village will each have its own Christmas tree. And each Christmas tree will be unique with its own holiday theme.
But there are festivities in addition to decorations like the Christmas trees. I want to tell you all about them. And then I’ll tell you how to save money when booking an Atlantis Bahamas vacation!
Christmas Day Brunch
The Christmas Day Brunch at Atlantis Bahamas takes place at Café Martinique. There are two different times you can reserve a spot: 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM. You can enjoy a reimaged French classic Christmas buffet. All of this was curated by Atlantis’ Executive Chef Adrien Delcourt.

12 Days of Christmas
Teens can celebrate the holiday season with other tweens and teens at in CRUSH. CRUSH is Atlantis Bahamas’ nightclub designed for teens ages 13 to 17, complete with a sweet Gaming Lounge. The 12 Days of Christmas at CRUSH includes sweet treats, daily giveaways, sweet treats, raffle prizes, and more. It takes place from December 14th, 2022, through December 25th, 2022. Teens ages 13 to 17 years old can enjoy this from 10:30 PM to 1:00 AM.
But guess what? Tweens ages 9 to 13 years old aren’t left out of this experience. From 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, they can come to CRUSH and enjoy their own 12 Days of Christmas!
Christmas Teatime
Join others at teatime at Atlantis. Christmas teatime is available from December 15th, 2022 through December 17th, 2022 and December 22nd, 2022 through December 24th, 2022. It takes place at 3:00 PM.
Chanukah Menorah Lighting & Grand Celebration
Do you celebrate Chanukah instead of or in addition to Christmas? Then you are at the right place at Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas! Because not only do they celebrate Christmas, but they celebrate Chanukah as well.
They’ll be lighting the Chanukah Menorah in the Royal Lobby every night during Hanukah, which is from December 18th, 2022, from December 25th, 2022. It will be at 5:30 PMeach night except for on Friday, December 23rd, when it is at 4:30 PM, and on Saturday, December 24th, when it is at 6:30 PM.
Then on the last night of Hanukkah, on December 26th, 2022, there be a Grand Chanukah Celebration. It takes place at Marina Village at 5:30 PM. There will be treats, music, arts & crafts, and of course the lighting of the Grand Menorah.
Christmas Carnival
Kids can head to the Atlantis Kids Adventures on Christmas Eve Eve (or December 23rd, 2022) from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. There will be a night full of cotton candy, snow cones, carnival games, crafts, and more.
Pancakes & Pajamas
Children can put their PJs on and head to Atlantis Kids Adventures. On December 22nd, 2022, they are having a holiday slumber party from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
Holiday Teen Pajama Party
Kids aren’t the only ones who can enjoy a pajama party this Christmas season! There is a Holiday Teen Pajama Party on Christmas Eve (December 24th). It takes place at CRUSH on the Lower Level of the Coral. It lasts from 10:30 PM to 1:00 AM. This party is for teens ages 13 years old to 17 years old.
Crafting with Santa
When we think of Santa, we think of the big guy who gives us gifts. But have ever wanted to do crafts with him? Then you will love Crafting with Santa! That takes place at Atlantis Kids Adventures from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on December 23rd, 2022.
Breakfast with Santa
Another fun activity with Santa that’s going on this Christmas season at Atlantis is Breakfast with Santa! It takes place at Atlantis Kids Adventures from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM on December 23rd, 2022 and December 24, 2022.
Cookies and Cocoa with Santa
We all know Santa likes his cookies, right? Well, instead of just leaving Santa cookies, Atlantis gives guests the opportunity to decorate gingerbread cookies while enjoying hot cocoa with Santa. It takes place on Christmas Eve (December 24th, 2022) from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Grinchmas
Grinchmas is a fun holiday event that takes place at Atlantis Kids Adventures on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. There are grinch games, a scavenger hunt, and a photo booth.
Ugly Sweater Party
The Ugly Sweater Party takes place on Friday, December 22, 2023! You can wear your favorite Christmas sweater and enjoy holiday games and an ugliest sweater contest.
Bahamarama Bash
Just because Christmas is over doesn’t mean the partying ends at Atlantis Bahamas! There will be a party the day after Christmas on December 26th from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM at Atlantis Kids Adventures. This Bahamarama Bash is a Bahamas celebration with a Junkanoo dance parade, island-style games, and crafts.
