I’ve been asked a lot of questions about the Walt Disney World Resort throughout the years.  But one popular question that often comes up about Disney World is whether or not the tickets are refundable.  And I think these days, given all the uncertainty around traveling the past couple years, this question is getting asked even more.

So what is the answer?  Well, the answer is yes, you can get a refund, but it depends on how you buy your tickets.

Let’s start with, what is Walt Disney World’s official policy?  Well, it’s not the best news for anyone who worries about a last-minute trip cancellation.  It’s official policy is “Tickets and packages at Walt Disney World Resort are nontransferable and nonrefundable”.  So, yeah.  I’m sure you’d like the policy to be different.

How to Get Refundable Disney World Tickets

But wait!  As I said before, you can get a refund.  See just because Disney itself won’t refund you doesn’t mean you are out of luck.

Because you don’t have to buy your tickets through Disney.  There are other websites that sell Disney tickets.  Some of these places actually offer a lot better prices, too.

Undercover Tourist

One of those reseller websites is Undercover Tourist.  My family has used Undercover Tourist many times.  We have always had great experiences using Undercover Tourist.  They are easy to work with and offer great prices.  In fact, buying a ticket to Disney World through Undercover Tourist is cheaper than going through Disney’s website!

And ordering your tickets through Undercover Tourist has another great perk.  They sell refundable Disney World tickets!

They have a great 365-Day Return Policy.  When you buy a ticket through Undercover Tourist, 95% of the item(s) order amount will be refunded back to you.  So they give you back almost everything, they just take 5% as a fee to cover the delivery, handling, and processing fees from the original payment.  And so even if it’s not 100%, that is 95% better than Disney and it means you will get almost all your money back.

The 365-Day means of course you can’t wait too long to get your refund.  You won’t say be able to get a refund a couple of years after you bought your ticket.  But if you buy a ticket now it’s probably for a trip within the next year and if you don’t take the trip, you will probably want your money back right away.  So that is unlikely going to be a problem for you.

So if you are planning on buying tickets for Disney World, buying through Undercover Tourist is kind of a no-brainer.  Their tickets are cheaper to begin with and they have a ticket refund policy.  So click here to get started.

Oh, and check out their prices for Disney World hotels and other Orlando hotels.  Plus tickets to other top Orlando attractions like Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and LEGOLAND.  You’ll be pleased to see their prices!
