Busch Gardens Tampa Bay always has great festivals and celebrations for holidays, like its Christmas Town Celebration.  So that should be enough reason for you to know you’ll want to attend Busch Gardens’ brand new Halloween event for 2023, called Spooktacular.

But perhaps you want even more reasons to attend Spooktacular at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.  And you’ll find that out in this Busch Gardens Spooktacular 2023 Guide.  You’ll also find out how to save money on tickets!

Now, you may be thinking that Busch Gardens already has a Halloween event.  It’s once we talked about before here in our Busch Gardens Tampa Howl-O-Scream 2023 Guide.  But that event is more aimed toward older children, teens, and adults.  It is, as you might gather from the name, a Halloween event you want to attend if you like being scared.

But Spooktacular is more of an event that even Busch Gardens’ youngest guests can enjoy.  You’ll see from the list of activities.

Trick-Or-Treating

What is a family-friendly Halloween event without trick-or-treating?  You can do just that at Busch Gardens!  Please note, however, that you have to buy a reusable bag from the park in order to participate in trick-or-treating.

Spooktacular Costume Parade

Kids love showing off their Halloween costumes.  And now your kid can show their Halloween costume off in the Spooktacular Costume Parade!

Kandy’s World

Kandy is a witch-in-training.  You can join her as she shares her journey on becoming a real witch.  You get to hear first-hand stories.  This includes anecdotes about how much she loves candy (well, it is her name), and stories of how she accidentally turned her friends into frogs (don’t you hate when that happens?), among other stories.

Storytime

In addition to her own stories, Kandy will also read the popular story “Room on the Broom”.  It’s a story where everybody has a place and everyone belongs.

Spooky Kooky Science

Professor Pufflemintz is the unpredictable, positive Professor of Science – and she’s hosting Spooky Kooky Science during Spooktacular.

Spooktacular Event Dates

This event takes place on Saturdays and Sundays.  It started on Saturday, September 9, 2023.  It ends on Sunday, October 30, 2023.
