Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Reopening: 5 Tips

Have you been missing Busch Gardens theme park in Tampa, Florida?  Well, great news!  You won’t have to wait much longer.  Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is reopening on June 11th.

But of course, a few things will be different.  Busch Gardens will be working hard to make sure we can all have fun while staying safe.

So before you go, follow our tips so you and your family or friends can have a lot of fun while obeying the new rules!

1. Get Tickets Ahead of Time

You’re not going to want to wait until you’re at the park to get tickets.  That’s because Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be limiting how many guests can come.  So they are requiring that you reserve a spot first.  You can do that here.

You will need a ticket, though, in order to reserve your spot.  But luckily, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is currently having a flash sale on tickets.  So buy your ticket now and reserve a spot!

2. Buy Parking Pass Ahead of Time

When you buy your tickets, make sure you also get a parking pass unless free parking is included in your ticket.  That way, the purchase will be contactless!

3. Wear a Face Mask

Wearing a face mask actually isn’t just a recommendation.  It will be required for everyone ages two years old and older.  You won’t have to certain designated relaxed areas of the park or when you are eating and drinking.  But otherwise, you will need a face mask.  But you can get great ones from Etsy or Amazon.  And if you’re also visiting Disney World during your trip, you might want to consider getting one of these Disney themed face masks.

4. Get Non-Contact Thermometer

Another change you’ll notice at Busch Gardens is that you will have to get your temperature checked before entering the park.  If you don’t want any surprises before you head to the park, consider getting a non-contact thermometer like this.  That way, you can take your whole family’s temperature.

5. Get Hand Sanitizer

You’re going to want your hands to stay clean in order to keep safe, right?  Well, Busch Gardens does have lots of restrooms for you to wash your hands.  And they’ll be hand sanitizer stations all over the park.  But to be safest, you might want to bring your own sanitizer, like these travel-size hand sanitizers.

6. Get a Contactless Payment App

Do you have a contactless payment app on your phone like Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Android Pay?  If not, you should go ahead and get it.  Because you will need it to make purchases in Busch Gardens.  And you can use it at other businesses as a safe payment method!
