Daytona Beach, Florida is a wonderful family travel destination. And you may think that’s because of the beach, but the truth is that’s not the only reason. There are other fun activities adults and children can enjoy. And one of the reasons for this is Daytona Lagoon!

Waterpark
As the name might imply, the heart of Daytona Lagoon is the waterpark. The waterpark has a lot of great attractions.
Shaka Halfpipe
Shaka Halfpipe is a two-person, inner-tube ride where you’ll go straight up then backward over a 50-foot drop. A great ride for an adrenaline junkie!
Adventure Mountain
With a name like Adventure Mountain, this should be a great attraction. And given that this fully enclosed twin slide attraction is the waterpark’s highest multi-rider slide, this should not disappoint.
Kraken’s Revenge
Kraken’s Revenge is an over 50 feet tall water slide attraction that has four different lanes. It is a mat racer attraction where you can race your family and friends down the slide.
Blackbeard’s Revenge
A high-speed and thrilling encloses slide attraction with lots of twists and turns. You can ride it with a friend or family member or by yourself.
Poseidon’s Pass
Poseidon’s Pass is a fun attraction that is comprised of three partially enclosed slides.
Pelican’s Drift Lazy River
Sometimes after all the thrills, you need a relaxing break. And you can get one on Pelican’s Drift Lazy River. Floating on the currents of a Lazy River can be incredibly relaxing for all ages.
Castaway Children’s Play Area
But if you are looking for something the youngest guests can enjoy, then check out Castaway Children’s Play Area. It is a water play area with shallow water, a giant refillable bucket, water blasters, and more. There are also lounge chairs surrounding the playground for us adults to relax in while keeping an eye on the younger guests.
Treasure Lagoon Wave Pool
But if you are looking to have fun with your youngest family members, then put them in a life jacket and head to the Treasure Lagoon Wave Pool. The Treasure Lagoon Wave Pool has calm waters you can splash around in until the wave pool buzzer sounds. And then you can enjoy waves just like in the ocean but in a more controlled fashion.
Fun Park
The other component of Daytona Lagoon is the fun you can have while staying dry, and that is the Fun Park. There are great attractions at the Fun Park, too.
Mega Arcade
They’ve got a Mega Arcade with over 70 immersive games along with Skee-ball and air hockey. You can earn points on some of the games that can be redeemed for a prize or prizes of your choice.
Laser Tag
Daytona Lagoon has a laser tag arena complete with attack zones, pillars, mazes, and astonishing lights and sounds.
Sky Maze Rope Courses
Above the ocean floor lies a high-flying indoor ropes course and a fun Sky Maze.
Go-Karts
Daytona Lagoon has a multi-level go-kart track.
Miniature Golf
Take in the ocean breezes as you enjoy 18 holes in a tropical oasis.
Bumper Cars
Drive around in indoor electric cars surrounded by giant tubes while making sure you are the one doing the bumping and not the other way around!
Rock Wall
Guests can test their physical and mental strength on Daytona Lagoon’s huge towering rock wall.
