Spa Resort Hawaiians is a very unique hot spring theme park in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.  The park’s hot spring water draws its water from the Iwaki Yumoto Hot Spring.  That is one of Japan’s three oldest hot spring resorts.  That hot spring water is funneled into Spa Resort Hawaiians’ large communal baths, spa facilities, and pools!

We’re going to go over the top attractions at Spa Resort Hawaiians.  And then we will tell you how to get a discount ticket there!

Water Park

Spa Resorts Hawaiian has an indoor waterpark that can be enjoyed any time of the year.  In fact, its average indoor temperature is 28°C.  As I mentioned before, all pools use the thermal waters of Iwaki Yumoto Hot Spring.  They’ve got a large curved pool, three waterslides, and child-friendly pools.

The pool is divided into three sections:

  • Paradise Cove: This section has children’s waterslides and baby wading pools
  • Stream of Wonders: This section is a flowing pool and it is rumored to house water fairies!
  • Friendship Canyon: This section has a lot of great attractions, including a suspension bridge and a children’s waterslide

Spa

So we’ve talked about how great the hot springs water is, right?  So you’ll love just soaking in this water at the spa.  But aside from this, their spa offers a wide variety of services.  This includes baths with massaging jets, bats with cascading water, and more.

Authentic Polynesian Dance Shows

This spa resort is themed to Hawaii, right?  So it’s fitting that you can watch an authentic Polynesian dance show here!  You’ll get to watch Tahitian dance routines, the “fire knife” dance, and more performed by well-trained dancers and performers.

Golf Course

You can also enjoy playing golf on a golf course just 5 minutes from Spa Resort Hawaiians.  There are 27 holes on 3 separate golf courses that have all been certified by the Japan Golf Association.  Everyone from beginner to advanced golfers can enjoy playing golf here.  It’s made even better by the lush landscapes since it is situated between the Abukuma Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
