Kings Dominion Winterfest Shows

Kings Dominion theme park in Doswell, Virginia has a great Christmas event every year, Winterfest.  Winterfest has lots of great Christmas & winter-themed shows.  One of my family’s favorite shows at Kings Dominion Winterfest is Cool Yule Christmas.

Cool Yule Christmas

Cool Yule Christmas is a great show that takes place across from the Eiffel Tower at the front of the theme park.

You can see it for yourself in the video we took last Sunday:

It features a talented cast of performers who sing and dance to classic and current Christmas hits.  Some of those songs include:

  • Wild & Crazy Christmas
  • Candy Cane Lane
  • You Make It Feel Like Christmas
  • Jingle Bells
  • Winter Wonderland
  • White Christmas
  • Let It Snow
  • Santa Tell Me
  • The Man with the Bag
  • Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town

There are also some neat instances where they take other songs and then change them into holiday tunes.  For example, Mr. Sandman becomes Mr. Santa!

There are also a number of great costume changes.  All the costumes look beautiful.  Especially in front of the backdrop of the beautiful Christmas trees on stage and the beautiful holiday lights of International Street.
