The Craft Beer Festival at SeaWorld Orlando theme park has one week left. But there’s still time to try some of the great drink and food concoctions at this festival! We want to share with you some of our family’s favorites from this festival.
Best Beer
This is, after all, a craft beer festival, so we have to start with beer, right? This is a festival that boasts over 100 craft brews, so your selection is truly great.
However, we found the best to be Anheuser-Busch Michelob Ultra.
You can find that at the Hops and Dreams location, near Lakeside Grill. This is a beer we first tried at Renaissance Orlando, and the one we had at the Craft Beer Festival did not disappoint.
Best Entree
At a craft beer festival, you might just be thinking about beer and not the food. But the truth is, there is actually quite a lot of good food here. So much so you can really have a meal that just consists of food that you get from the festival.
And the entree we would most recommend having in this meal would be the Birria Beef Tacos. You can find this at Sam Adams Best Bites near Nautilus Theater. It consists of Sam Adams Octoberfest Guajillo Chile Beef and Oaxaca Cheese in a Mazina Tortilla.
It was so delicious! The beef was really good. But the best bites were the beef with the cheese. A few bites were hot, but it was not as spicy as you might imagine from a taco, though it should be noted that we did not have it with the sauce. The tortilla was soft and delicious. It was very easy to eat and not messy at all.
Best Dessert
When I first took a peek at the menu for this year’s Craft Beer Festival, I was convinced that the Churro Cheesecake would be my favorite. I mean, it’s churro. It’s cheesecake. It would have to be that, right?
Well, it turns out I was wrong. This dessert turned out to be good, but sadly not great. It was a fine pastry, but didn’t really capture a churro or a cheesecake in flavor.
Instead, our favorite dessert ended up being the Maduro Brown Ale Cupcake.
You can find this at Go For The Grain, which is across from Shark Encounter. It consists of Sponge Cake soaked in Jameson Simple Syrup, and a Bailey’s Irish Buttercream Frosting. This was absolutely delicious! We really liked the frosting, though the best part may have been the cake itself.
