From September 27th to October 27th on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, SeaWorld San Antonio will be hosting a wonderful Halloween event that is incredibly fun for both kids & adults called Halloween Spooktacular. It is included in your park admission, and it is a really fun event for you to bring your kids to in Halloween that I think you will really enjoy. Check out these 7 reasons why I know your family will have a great time at Halloween Spooktacular event at SeaWorld in San Antonio, Texas:
1. Trick-or-Treating
Let’s face it, the main reason most kids love Halloween is for the trick-or-treating! And trick-or-treating at this event is free and starts when the park opens until 7:00 PM. There are 10 different places for you to go to trick-or-treat through the park (Treasure Trove, Shamu’s Emporium, Penguin Gifts, Sea Star Market, Under the Sun, Adventure Gifts, Ocean’s Treasure, Discovery Point Gifts & Main Mast). Your kid can wear a Halloween costume. Kids under the ages of 10 are allowed to wear a mask. SeaWorld does ask that you bring a reusable bag or Halloween bucket from home. This is in order to reduce plastic and help animals, in keeping with their core mission. And if you forget to bring one, reusable bags will be available to purchase at any gift shop.
2. Hay Maze
Another fun thing to do in the fall is a hay maze, so it’s great that there’s a Hay Maze available in the park! It will be a lot of fun for you and your family to work together to get to the end of the maze!
3. Halloween Pets Ahoy
SeaWorld San Antonio is popular for its great shows, and their Halloween shows are no different! Halloween Pets Ahoy is a great Halloween themed comical show featuring dogs, cats, birds & other great animals.
4. Who Said Boo?!
Who Said Boo? is a Halloween themed Sesame Street show with great singing & dancing. Your kids can see their favorite Sesame Street characters (like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Zoe, Abby & Telly).
5. Fright Feast
Fright Feast is a new Halloween dining event that should be a lot of fun. You’ll get to dine with classic Halloween characters like Dracula, Frankenstein, Mummy, and more. You also get to enjoy a family fun block party with games, dancing and costume contests. Please note that this is not included in your park admission and does cost extra; you can buy it here.
6. Pumpkin Patch Picnic
Another great dining opportunity that also costs extra is the Pumpkin Patch Picnic. Here you get an all-you-can-eat, chef-prepared buffet at a reserved table. Your child will get to pick their own pumpkin SeaWorld’s pumpkin patch and paint it. Pumpkin painting & decorating supplies is even included in the cost!
