A summer vacation at SeaWorld San Diego has always been fun, but this summer might be the best yet. That is because SeaWorld San Diego has a brand new event: the Summer Spectacular! It began on May 24, 2024. It will run through September 2, 2024.
The Summer Spectacular means you can enjoy all the things you already loved about SeaWorld, like the animals and the rides. But in addition to that, SeaWorld has so many more great things planned for this event.
Entertainment
Pirate’s Ahoy! The Battle for Mermaid Cove
This is a fun water stunt spectacular. You’ll see pirates battle mermaids in a thrilling, immersive show that features water stunts and acrobatics. It takes place daily at Bayside Amphitheater through August 18th, 2024.
So Much More to SEA Parade
This all-new summer parade features favorite SeaWorld characters, colorful floats, catchy music, and dancing. It takes place daily. This parade is a great tribute to SeaWorld’s 60th Anniversary!
Enchanted Wonders Spectacular
A great summer day is best topped off with fireworks. And SeaWorld has a great, new nightly fireworks show set to beloved music from Blue Horizons and Shamu Rocks with special lyrics for SeaWorld. It takes nightly through August 11th at Orca Encounter. There is even a heartwarming video showcasing sixty years of SeaWorld San Diego that is a part of the show.
BMX Blast! Powered by BODYARMOR
Brand new excitement is coming to the Nautilus Amphitheater this summer! It’s a high-energy stunt called BMX Blast! This show, presented to you by BODYARMOUR, celebrates Southern California’s history of extreme sports. A live band plays pop-punk hits from the late 90s while the stunt riders show off their tricks.
Shamu and Crew – Together Again
Shamu and his crew (featuring Coral, Pete, Penny, Shivers, Sam, and O.P.) are reuniting for a great 60th-anniversary show at Mission Bay Theater where you can sing, dance, and relive happy memories!
Laser Reef Summer Spectacular
A fan-favorite show with vibrant new laser beams and a great summer soundtrack that takes place in front of the SeaWorld Store at the end of the day.
Coca-Cola DJ Dance Party
SeaWorld DJs will get you dancing all summer long each day at Wild Arctic Stage and Mermaid Cove (and at SkyTower Lawn on Mondays through Thursdays).
