Exciting news for horror fans and theme park enthusiasts everywhere (but especially Southern California)! Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest is coming back in 2024, and it’s going to be way better. This is not to say that it wasn’t great in the past because it was, of course.
But this year, Six Flags is really raising the stakes in the thrill department. Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest is so improved that it is no longer just Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest. It is Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest Extreme!
Scare zones and haunted houses will be back, of course. But this year, there will even be haunted houses themed some of the most popular horror TV and movie franchises out there!
One of these includes a haunted house themed to the incredibly popular Netflix science-fiction show, Stranger Things. Another is themed to one the top five highest-grossing horror franchises of all time, SAW. The SAW 20th Anniversary haunted house is sure to thrill and terrify guests! Another popular horror franchise, The Conjuring, will get its own haunted house, too! There’s another haunted house based on the popular post-apocalyptic zombie film, Army of the Dead. The cult favorite horror film Trick ‘r Treat also has a haunted house.
So horror fans are really in for a treat this Halloween season when they get to experience some of their favorite horror films or shows in an immersive, engrossing way. Plus, this is Six Flags. So there are also roller coasters. And visiting Fright Fest EXTREME means you get to ride your favorite roller coasters in the dark!
Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest Extreme will be taking place from September 7th, 2024 through November 3rd, 2024. Six Flags Magic Mountain is located in Valencia, California in the Los Angeles area.
