Located on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Australia Zoo is the home of the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. The Zoo occupies over 700 acres with more than 1,200 animals and a Wildlife Hospital. 110 acres are on public display.

Substantial efforts were made to create habitats so that all the animals can be seen in their natural environments. The Wildlife Hospital rescues, rehabilitates and releases more than 7,000 native Australian animals each year. Steve Irwin’s mission of “Conservation Through Exciting Education” is carried out every day.
