Italian Week is returning to the heart of Ottawa’s Little Italy from June 5 to 15, 2025. Immerse yourself in celebrating Italian cuisine, culture, art, music and traditions. Most of the events are free and we can help you save money on the Masterclasses with Early Bird Tickets.
More than 15 events highlight all things Italian, from art and food to music and heritage. Experience what it means to be an Italian.
We’re giving you a schedule for the first weekend of the Italian Week when the majority of the events will be happening.

Tuesday, June 10
On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, Chef Christian Lepore will be giving a Masterclass on Dishes from Northern to Central Italy. He will demonstrate how to create a three course dinner using key Mediterranean ingredients. And you will get to taste a sample of the dishes he prepared.

Wednesday, June 11
On Wednesday, June 11, Chef Christian will demonstrate how to prepare dishes from Southern to Central Italy. Again, you’ll get to taste a sample of his dishes.

Thursday, June 12
On Thursday, June 12, Chef Christian will demonstrate and teach attendees the art of stuffing pasta and the art of creating different shapes of pasta. You’ll practice stuffing techniques and learn the tricks to ensure your stuffing doesn’t ooze out when cooked. All tools and ingredients will be supplied. You’ll get to take home your pasta ready to cook and your pasta tools.

Free Tours
There will be free tours of Little Italy and a free Living The Italian-Canadian Experience will be given on Monday, June 9. The Italian Week will end on Sunday, June 15, with a Father’s Day picnic and Bicycle Races.
