Toronto has been celebrating St. Patrick’s Day for over a century.  Records have it dating back to 1863.  

Originally St. Patrick’s Day was a religious observance in Ireland with feasts and services to honor St. Patrick, the country’s patron saint.  Irish immigrants brought their traditions to Canada and the United States.  Gradually St. Patrick’s Day evolved into a lively celebration of Irish culture with parades, music and plenty of green!

Emo Night Toronto – St. Patrick’s Day Edition

Emo Night Toronto – St. Patrick’s Day Edition will be happening at Sneaky Dee’s on Friday, March 15, 2026.  Doors will open at 10:30 pm and the party will go on until 2 am.

Emo Night North (ENN) is a weekly emo night in Toronto.  Emo is music characterized by emotional, often confessional, lyrics from the mid 1980s.  And on Friday, March 15th, everyone at Sneaky Dee’s will be Emo and Irish!

The guest DJ will be spinning classic emo bangers and more all night long!  So come and bring your friends.  You must be 19+ with a valid ID.

Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be happening on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 12 pm.  It is the largest Irish themed event held in Toronto.  

The parade will begin at the corner of Queens Park and Bloor Street West and will end at Dundas Street.  It will last 1 ½ hours at any given point.  It is a colorful celebration of Irish culture, community spirit and heritage.  It is organized by the St. Patrick’s Parade Society.

The parade is filled with music, dance and fun!  It has thousands of participants and hundreds of entries.  Toronto’s ethnic diversity is reflected in the parade’s entrants.  You’ll see colorful floats, Irish dancers, marching bands, hundreds of leprechauns, pipe bands and green, green and more green!

Thousands of people line the streets.  They can catch chocolate coins and green beads thrown from the floats.  And a great time is had by all!
