Chicago’s #1 haunted house returns. It will be opening on Friday, September 26 to Saturday, November 8, 2025. They are proud to be scaring Oak Lawn and Chicago for the 10th year.
Midnight Terror uses “Old School” scene tactics with a balance of “New School” technology. With over 100 actors, it is an “Actor Driven” terrifying show.

The venue is enormous. Explore 26,000 square feet of horror, featuring countless rooms and terrifying actors around every corner. The scares from the actors will begin before you enter the haunted house.
You’ll journey through the twisted corridors of an abandoned factory. It is occupied by an ancient, malevolent evil spirit who is waiting for you. Frightening supernatural terrors reside here.
You’ll encounter soulless beings and demonic forces who will stop at nothing to hurt you. Immerse yourself in over 40 minutes of terror.
Once you enter the factory, you’ll be transported into another world of terror. The nightmare is real here.
Hungry monsters and freaks lurk around every corner. As you wind your way through a disorienting trail of horror. You’ll go through a dark naze filled with surprises and none of them will be good.
You’ll feel like you’re being watched and that’s because you are. And you won’t see them until it’s too late.
Keep looking over your shoulder because everything you fear is here. There will be a new level of terror that will scare even the bravest guest. You’ll scream and then laugh and have fun!
New for 2025 will be an expanded Midway and entertainment, newly remodeled rooms, new scares and all new queue line experience.

- Black Oak Grove Hallows Eve is a town frozen in Halloween and the monsters you were scared of as a child are real now.
- ShadowTek Corporation has illegal experiments plunging victims into living nightmares and terror mutates their bodies and minds.
- Laugh & Slash Carnival – You’ll hear the sound of chain saws as you’re stalked by killer clowns.
- Rotten Hollow is a haunted cemetery and Silas the Hollow Keeper is waiting there for you.
- Sinister Sideshow Midway has axe throwing, fast paced escape rooms, eerie photo ops and much more.
Also new is Artist Alley where creepy meets creative. You’ll find horror goods, spooky merchandise and sinister souvenirs crafted by local artists.
