It’s time for a fun family outing where you can come face-to-face with dinosaurs. Yes, it is time to attend Dinosaurs in the Park!
Dinosaurs in the Park is a limited-time experience combining fun and education. It will be at various locations throughout England this summer.
The first stop is Danson Park South in the London Borough of Bexley and they sure have a lot of fun things planned for the pop-up event.
Dinosaur Walk
First of all, there are, as the name implies, lots of dinosaurs. Forty, in fact, life-sized animatronic dinosaurs that move and even roar. It’s about as close to experiencing a dinosaur in front of you as you can get without a time machine. You’ll see dinosaurs from the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods.
Seeing them is fun for both adults and children. Each dinosaur is displayed near each other so you can walk from dinosaur to dinosaur, and they’re easily accessible to anyone in a wheelchair or a pushchair.
But this event is educational as well. There are information panels up throughout so you can read and learn about each dinosaur you see. This can be a better way for children (and us adults) to learn about dinosaurs rather than just reading about them in a book. Dino-Fun-Zone
But the event is not just purely educational. You can find some fun activities for children at the Dino-Fun-Zone. There’s a bouncy castle there. You can meet Dinosaurs in the Park’s mascot there. There are also bone excavations.
Additional Event Offerings
But that is not all. There is a food court if all the dinosaur-seeing or bouncing gets you hungry. You can find meals or snacks there. There is also a gift shop where you can find the perfect souvenir for the excursion.
