Can you believe that special day is just a few days away? No, I am not talking about Halloween. Sadly, we are more than a few days away from Halloween.
No, I am talking about that other upcoming special event. And that is the Cougars Halloween WitchCraft Beer Fest!
The Cougars Halloween WitchCraft Beer Fest takes place at Northwestern Medicine Field. This is a baseball field in Geneva, Illinois that is the home ballpark of the Kane County Cougars. The Cougars are an independent professional baseball team that’s a part of the American Association of Professional Baseball.
The Cougars Halloween WitchCraft Beer Fest takes place a couple of weeks before Halloween. It will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. What’s great about this event is that a ticket for it includes 18 samples served in a souvenir glass.
These samples come from 25 local craft breweries. Part participants have included:
- Tangled Roots Brewing Company
- 2 Fools Cider
- 93 Octane Brewery
- Art History Brewing
- Eris Brewing
- Obscurity Brewing
- Pollyanna Brewing Co.
- Riverlands Brewing Co.
- Sew Hop’d Brewery
- and more!
But drinking isn’t the only thing at this event (though that would be enough to get most of us there!). This is, as the name tells you, a Halloween event. Halloween costumes are encouraged because there will be Halloween costume contests! You could win the scariest Halloween costume, the most unique Halloween costume, the best couples’ costume, etc. You can find a great Halloween costume here (on a personal note, I find they have better sizes for adults than most Halloween costume companies).
In addition to drinking, you can try some delicious foods. Specialty food trucks will be there selling their signature products. The event also includes live DJ beats.
