Go on an enchanted journey back in time to ancient China through a world of handcrafted light sculptures. Dragon Lights is an international touring exhibit. From March 30 through May 3, 2018, Dragon Lights will illuminate Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois with more than 35 sets of larger than life light sculptures that glow in the dark. There is a dragon lantern display of over 200 feet long and 2 stories high. It is all to celebrate the coming of spring which is a Chinese tradition dating back two thousand years. Their team of artisans come from Zigong, Sichuan, China’s culture capital for the ancient art of lantern making. There will be nightly performances of martial arts, top spinning, juggling, unicyclists and more. The Festival features Chinese and traditional fair food and assorted beverages.
