Dragon Lights is an International touring exhibit that will take you back to ancient China through a world of handcrafted light sculptures. From now until January 6, 2019, Dragon Lights will illuminate the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus. You’ll see larger-than-life lantern displays featuring a fearsome Chinese dragon, Malaysian tigers, dinosaurs and more. Their team of artisans come from Zigong, Sichuan, China’s cultural capital for the ancient art of lantern making. There will be handicraft demonstrations of name painting, crystal engraving and aluminum weaving. Traditional Chinese acts of contortionist, face changing, Chinese Yo-Yo and more can be seen at nightly performances. The Time Travel Photo booth is included in admission. Try on costumes from different dynasties and share your pictures on social media. Asian and American food is available for purchase.
