The second annual Winter Lantern Festival Drive Thru is coming to Nassau County Museum of Art in Long Island, New York. It will run now through January 8, 2023. The hours are from 5 pm to 8:30 pm.
A brilliant light show will illuminate this very merry journey. Roll through acres of gorgeous luminance. This immersive event can be enjoyed in the comfort and warmth of your car.
Be prepared to drive slowly. You won’t want to miss a thing. Open the windows and the sun roof. Enjoy the sight of the twinkling lights all around and over you. Bask in the glow of these lovely lights.
This year’s drive thru them is outer space. Maneuver your car between towering planets and rocket ships. You’ll see all manner of astronauts. These larger than life light displays will impress and delight. This is one holiday adventure the entire family will enjoy.
In addition to the lights, there will be colorful Chinese lanterns. These gorgeous, elaborate lanterns are made by hand by artisans with many years of experience. LED lights inside the lanterns illuminate them. Be prepared to ooohh and aaahh over these lovely lanterns. These lanterns have been sculptured into amazing figures.
You’ll be on an enchanting journey across eight acres of awesome light displays. Enjoy an oasis of light and color. Be sure to bring your camera to take spectacular photos. You’re going to want to make this one of your family’s holiday traditions.
The Winter Lantern Festivals are produced by the New York Events & Entertainment and the China National Tourist Office of New York. This year there are four Winter Lantern Festival events in the NYC area and this is the only drive thru.
