If you’re looking for a place to celebrate the 4th of July in New Jersey, Wildwood should be on your short list. The entire city will be decked out in red, white and blue in its annual patriotic make over. Festivities start up with the North Wildwood Independence Day Family Parade at 9th and Atlantic Avenues. The parade will begin at 9 am and will wind its way north to 1st and Surf Avenues. You’ll see colorful floats, marching bands playing patriotic music, dance teams, colorfully dressed characters and more. The celebratory mood is contagious.
This will be followed by a patriotic Pooch Parade.
Mudhen Brewery will be having an Independence Day Party. Join them for the tapping of their annual 4th of July beer, which is their Imperial IPA with resin hop aroma and flavor. Grab a glass and celebrate. Derek Crider Band will be performing from 5 pm to 9 pm. You can also play Corn Hole, Tiki Toss, Put Put and more.
Enjoy fun in the sun with a day at the beach. The carnival like atmosphere at the Boardwalk adds to the excitement of the day.
