Come one! Come all! Grab your sombrero, serape and your friends and go to Ballantyne’s Backyard for the Tacos N Taps Festival.
This will be a fiesta grande! The festival will be offering some of the best tacos and Mexican food that Charlotte has to offer. And there will be beer, more beer and even more beer!
You will receive a souvenir glass which you can use for all you care to taste craft beers, mezcals, margaritas and tequilas. They’ll throw in some wine and ciders for the gringos. All tequilas and mezcal bars will be chilled.
Tacos N Taps will have more than 15 Taco Trucks, Taquerias and Mexican Restaurants with over 30 different types of tacos. Each vendor will offer a variety of tacos and Mexican inspired dishes. All vendors will feature at least one taco option for $3. And all vendors will accept taco tickets and also cash and credits cards for tacos or anything else on the menu. There will be dueling Margarita Bars which will give you more choices.
You will be entertained by a Mariachi Band and some of your favorite Charlotte area bands. You can enter the Hot Pepper Eating Contest which is always fun.
You can participate in lawn activities and games. Merchandise and service vendors will be at the festival, making for a great shopping experience. You can get brewerania, hot sauces, jewelry and more.
