Orlando, Florida is, without question, one of the most fun vacation destinations in the world. There are so many fun things to do. And a lot of them are outdoors to take advantage of the good weather Florida often has.
But if there is one negative of the weather in Florida, it is that does rain a lot. And if I had another complaint, it would be that sometimes it gets a bit too hot.
But that isn’t a problem if you visit Dezerland Park on International Drive near the junction of Florida Center North and the Florida Turnpike. That is because Dezerland is Florida’s largest indoor attraction. It has over 800,000 square feet of thrills and fun activities. So if you want to make sure at least one day of your Orlando vacation is weatherproof, you should go to Dezerland!

Karting Orlando
Dezerland is home to Florida’s longest and fastest indoor Go Kart track. They use state-of-the-art technology for their go-karts. There is a Pro Track for racers over 54″ tall and a Cadet Track for racers over 48″.
The Auto Museum
The auto museum at Dezerland is actually the largest museum of any kind in all of Orlando. And it features a lot of really cool cars from all over the world.
There are multiple great collections here. Perhaps my favorite though is the Bat Cave. That is where you can see Batmobiles from the past to the present, like batmobiles used for movies or TV shows with Adam West, Michael Keaton, and Val Kilmer. You can even see a “nuclear-powered” batboat!
