Have you ever wondered what it would be like to walk next to dinosaurs? Well, if you live in San Antonio or are visiting San Antonio anytime soon, then you are in luck. And that is because of Dino Safari: A Walk Thru Adventure!
What is Dino Safari? Well, this is not a Jurassic Park situation where there are actual dinosaurs (sorry!). But they do have full-scale, moving, scientifically accurate animatronic dinosaurs at this exhibit. So it’s the next best thing (and you don’t have to worry about them eating you, so that’s an added bonus).
In addition to seeing the dinosaurs, you can also learn a lot. There’s an audio guide available in both English and Spanish that is available with an entertaining storyline you can listen to as you walk through the exhibit. You’ll learn all about these dinosaurs and how they lived.
And then there are other educational things up at this exhibit that are also a lot of fun. You’ll learn about cutting-edge research going on right now. And you can even dig up fossils!
Dino Safari takes place at Shops at Rivercenter, a shopping mall located at the world-famous River Walk in downtown San Antonio. There are over 100 retailers there, including SEA LIFE Aquarium, AMC Theatre, Build-A-Bear-Workshop, Victoria’s Secret, Lids, Hot Topic, Forever 21, etc.
Dino Safari: A Walk Thru Adventure! is not a permanent exhibition. It will just be running through August 31, 2023. So you need to go as soon as possible before the exhibit ends.
