Cien Agaves Taco & Tequila in Old Town Scottsdale will be having Passport De Agaves on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
You can sample multiple agaves spirits. There will be a mix of anejos, reposados, biancos and the occasional specialty variety. The featured agave spirits will be by brands: Tequila Patron, Celaya Tequila and Ilegal Mezcal.
Representatives from each brand will be there. You can ask the representatives any questions you might have about the distilling process, aging of the spirits or food pairings. They can tell you about the history of agave spirits, where they’re found in Mexico and fun facts about tequila.
Your ticket includes 9 different agave varietals to taste. You’ll get a passport that you can get stamped at each station with each sample. This can help you to remember your favorites from the samples.
Should you get hungry while enjoying all the samples, Cien Agaves has you covered. What goes better with tequila than tacos? And the restaurant has a Taco Stand with many different varieties of tacos. Try their shrimp taco or their tinga taco. They also have fajitas, burritos, enchiladas and so much more. And the desserts sound fabulous with Churro Sundae and Kahlua Flan.
