Port Wine Fest is coming to San Francisco on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 5 pm to 8 pm. It is a celebration of Portuguese wines, culture and gastronomy produced by the Port Wine Shippers Association. It is an immersive wine and food tasting experience. Many of the winemakers who produced the wines you’ll be tasting will be at the fest. They can tell you about their wines and answer any questions you might have.
Portuguese cuisine features full flavored dishes which vary from region to region. Specialty dishes include tasty regional cheeses, codfish, grilled sardines, egg sweets and Pasteis de Nata, their world famous custard tarts. The acclaimed chef, Telmo Faria, will present a Portuguese feast of gourmet creations.
