San Diego Bayfest is returning to the beautiful Waterfront Park with Southern California’s own Sublime as headliners. This will be happening on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 1 pm to 11 pm.
Performers
The fest has assembled an amazing lineup of mega talented artists. Performers include
Sublime
Sublime is an alternative rock and reggae band from Long Beach. Jakob Nowell, the son of the late Bradley Nowell, has joined his father’s trio. He’s joined original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh. They are fresh off a great Coachella debut.
Atmosphere
Founded in 1994 in Minnesota as “Urban Atmosphere,” the band blends hip hop with live instrumentation. Their hits include “Modern Man’s Hustle” and “You.” They’ve experienced over two decades of hip hop success.
Goldfinger
Goldfinger helped contribute to a mini U.S. ska punk movement in Southern California. The punk rock quartet is from Los Angeles.
Barrington Levy
Barrington Levy is a Jamaican dancehall and reggae legend. He rose to fame in the late 1970s as a teenager. His smooth vocals have earned him the nickname of “Mellow Canary.” His greatest hits include “Be Strong,” “Black Rose,” “Under Mi Sensi,” “Here I Come,” “Poor Man Style” and Collie Weed.”
Makua Rothman
Big wave surfer Makua Rothman is a reggae rock musician. His debut album “Sound Wave” topped the Billboard Reggae charts. He balances his musical passion with his surfing roots. In 2015, he was crowned the Big Wave World Champion in the World Surf League. His hits include “The One And Only” and “Paradise” and his latest single is “Hooked.”
Kyle Smith
Kyle Smith is a singer and songwriter from Ventura, California. His Southern California style blended with Reggae Rock is catchy and humorous. His original music is laced with Cali-Roots, Dub, Hip Hop, Punk Rock and Reggae.

Food and beverage vendors will be at the Bayfest with delicious offerings available for purchase. Since cocktails and beer are being sold, this will be a 21+ event.
