Travel to the beautiful California wine country and visit 2 wineries on a Half Day Wine Aficionado Tour.

You’ll meet your professional guide and depart from Fisherman’s Wharf.  Enjoy a scenic drive over the majestic Golden Gate Bridge and pass through the charming town of Sausalito.  It is a seaside Mediterranean like village across the San Francisco Bay.

Enjoy the beautiful views from your comfortable air conditioned coach.  The vine covered hillsides will come into view and then you will visit your first winery.

The Cline Family Cellars is a family owned and family friendly winery in Sonoma. It was founded in 1982 with Fred Cline making his first vintages from vines, some of which dated back to the 1880s.  Their first wines were Zinfadels and Rhone varietals.

In 1989, they purchased more land and expanded their production, making Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, Merlot and more.

Experience the inner workings of the winery.  An expert wine host will walk you through the fermentation process, barrel aging, bottling and more.  And then will come the tastings of some award winning varietals.  You can enjoy three to five tastings of their signature wines.

Next you’ll go to Napa Cellars.  They are known for their Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Sirah and more.

They will take you through their wine making process and then it will be time for the tastings.  You can find a spot in their shady picnic grounds set among the vines.  Or you can settle in their tasting room.  Enjoy three to five wine tastings in a rustic setting with their friendly staff.  Each sip will reveal the rich flavors of the region’s finest wines.

The final stop will be at Oakville Market for a chance to buy gourmet delights and delicious treats.  You’ll then return to San Francisco.  Enjoy the scenic views, especially as the skyline of the City by the Bay comes into view.
