This is the 15th annual Chinese New Year in the Desert. During the last 14 years, CNY has grown so large it’s recognized as an official “Nevada 150” event.
On the first day of the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar, Las Vegas is transformed with red and gold decorations and extravagant displays. You’ll see beautiful displays, flowers and lanterns at the Bellagio and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
Restaurants will be offering special dishes, special menus and special drinks.
The 15th annual CNY in the Desert Gala Dinner will be happening at Palette Tea Long & Dim Sum on February 20, 2026 from 6 pm to 8 pm. It is sponsored by JAMBA. Enjoy a traditional Chinese family feast.
The big CNY in the Desert Parade will be happening on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 11 am to 12 pm. The Las Vegas Spring Festival Parade benin at Downtown Las Vegas Fremont East Entertainment District.
After the parade, there will be a Spring Festival celebration in Downtown Container Park. Enjoy live cultural performances, and a high energy dance fitness session. Vendors will be there showcasing their products.
