Midsummer Fairytale Music Festival is an event hosted by Stang Productions. It combines the fun escape of a fairytale/fantasy fair with the enjoyment of a music festival. This festival is in its sixth year and every year it grows. This year, they expect over 1,500 guests.
The festival takes place at the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, California. The first day is Saturday, August 19, 2023. It will run from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on this day. The second day of the festival is Sunday, August 20, 2023. It will be running on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Midsummer Fairytale Music Festival really takes you into a fantasy world. Talented actor guilds bring to life pirates, royalty, mermaids, and fairy-folk. And by the way, if you want to dress in costume for the event, check out these fantasy costumes and accessories.
Then of course there’s the music. The music line-up includes local and regional Folk, Celtic, and string artists. Headlining the event is the San Francisco Bay area Celtic band Tempest. Then there’s Sacramento-based Folk/Jazz/Classical band, Dear Darling. You’ll also be entertained by the local youth group, the Amador Young Fiddlers.
But the entertainment doesn’t stop with just music. The festival also features:
