If you want to do more than just look at art and you want to truly experience art, then Monet: The Immersive Experience is for you! This popular exhibition is currently in Sacramento, California, through January 3, 2026. Right now, you can even enjoy the experience at a discounted price.
But I am getting ahead of myself. Let me tell you more about the experience itself. It is a 360º digital art exhibition dedicated to the artwork of the famous French painter Claude Monet.
How the producers of the exhibition made it different than a standard art exhibition is with the use of technology. This includes:
- Digital displays
- Projection mapping
- 15,000 ft² screens
- Virtual reality
- Sound effects
The projections are even two stories high. The result is that it gives guests the feeling that they’ve actually stepped into the paintings as opposed to just looking at the artwork. And that makes for a really neat experience.
