This is precisely why you need to attend the eleventh annual Rockin’ Taco Street Fest in the Phoenix, Arizona area. It takes place on September 14, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Dr. AJ Chandler Park in downtown Chandler.
As the name implies, it is a taco festival. There are Hot Chili Pepper & Taco Eating Competitions. The festival has creative tacos from twenty local restaurants and food trucks. You can pair these tacos with Handcrafted Margaritas, Cerveza, Fresh Fruit Fresca, Micheladas, and more. There is, in fact, a Margarita & Michelada Master Tent.
It is also a celebration of culture. And it is a kid-friendly festival. There is a Little Amigos play area. There is also lots of shaded areas.
Entertainment
There’s great entertainment at the festival, like Luche Libre Wrestling. This event is a music festival, as well.

Big Iron AZ
Big Iron AZ is a band that performs songs from many genres like blues, rock, and country. They’ll be performing hits from artists like Johnny Cash, ZZ Top, Bob Marley, Hank Williams, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Dwight Yoakam, Toby Keith, and more.
Sweet Mess
Sweet Mess is a tribute band performing songs by female rock legends like Joan Jett, Heart, Aretha Franklin, Ronnie Spector, Pat Benatar, Blondie, Pink, Linda Ronstadt, Pink, The Pretenders, Eurythmics, The Cranberries, and more.
High 90’s
High 90’s is an alt rock band from Scottsdale that plays hits from bands like Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, and more.
Bottoms Up
Bottoms Up plays tribute to Van Halen performances from 1978 through 1984.
