We are hours away from the Quechee Hot Air Balloon Festival, the most colorful way to celebrate Father’s Day in New England! The Quechee Balloon Festival in Hartford, Vermont has been entertaining guests for over 45 years. We want to tell you what you can expect for the 2026 Quechee Hot Air Balloon Festival – and we want to tell you how you can save money on a ticket!
The Quechee Balloon Festival takes place on the following days and times:
- Friday, June 19th, 3:00PM to 9:00PM
- Saturday, June 20th, 5:45AM to 9:00PM
- Sunday, June 21st, 5:45AM to 8:00PM
Balloons
At the heart of this festival is, of course, balloons. You’ll see dozens of hot air balloons. This makes for a great sight – and wonderful photo opportunities.
Weather permitting, there will also be a tethered balloon offering rides!
At night, you can enjoy Balloon Glow, a dazzling light show where the balloons appear to dance to music.
Great Views
When you are not admiring the balloons, you can get wonderful views of the beautiful state of Vermont.
