HALLOWBOO is Idlewild Theme Park’s fall event. It takes place:

Trick-Or-Treat Trail
Looking for a safe place for your child to trick-or-treat this year? Well, kids can walk through the trick-or-treat trail through Story Book Forest, where they’ll get candy from all of their Story Book friends.
It is actually one of the longest trick-or-treating trails in Pennsylvania, too. And you can enjoy the beautiful Western Pennsylvania fall foliage as you walk along the trail.
All children ages 12 years old and younger can participate whether they have a costume or not. Treat bags are even provided if you don’t want to bring your own.
And by the way, if your child does want to wear a costume and doesn’t have one yet, check out the Halloween costumes available here.
Phantom Conductor Railroad
This is a brand new attraction for 2025!
Board a train in in Hootin’ Holler and ride the Phantom Conductor over the misty Loyalhanna Creek.
As riders go deeper into the woods, they’ll encounter a spooky atmosphere where strange light flickers and shadows are everywhere.
The full experience here will start September 20th.
Kids’ Halloween Costume Parade
As it gets closer to Halloween (namely the weekends of October 18th & 19th as well as October 25th through 28th), children can show off their costumes in a fun parade!
Pumpkin Hill: Legends of the Harvest
Growing pumpkins for an annual pumpkin festival seems like a fun, harmless activity. But what if it went horribly wrong? You can see what happens in this new attraction, which opens September 20th.
Mystic Wilds Jungle Maze
Mystic Wilds is a Halloween-themed jungle maze through a foggy mist where you can also keep your eyes peeled for jungle creatures.
