Zoo Lights Miami! Is back for its 10th year and is better than ever! This is a great way to celebrate the holiday season with activities the entire family can enjoy.
The Miami-Dade Zoological Park & Gardens is the only sub-tropical zoo in the continental United States. South Florida’s unique climate lets the zoo keep a wide variety of Australian, Asian, and African animals. There are animals here you won’t find in any other zoo in this country.
The Miami Zoo is truly a magical place during the holiday season. An awesome display of beautiful lights will stretch before you. More than one million holiday lights will dazzle and delight! You’ll see a 26-foot tall holiday tree beautifully decorated with LED lights.
Enjoy a complimentary cup of hot chocolate and two cookies. You’ll hear holiday music as you explore the special animal encounters. There’s always so much to do and see at the Miami Zoo!
So many trees in the zoo are adorned with holiday lights. Lights are used to form animals. The special effect lights are fun to watch. There are just so many stunning tableaus.
Enjoy Snowman’s River boat rides. It’s always fun to feed the giraffes. You’ll enjoy seeing so many of the animals up close. See the many unique items for purchase at the Zoo Gift Shop.
Get into the holiday spirit at Zoo Lights. On December 26 and 27, they will have Superhero Nights. Come dressed as your favorite superhero.

Additional Information
Face coverings are required at all times when at the zoo for all guests aged 2 and older. Social distancing is practiced. There are one-way pathways. Indoor buildings will have limited capacity. Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the zoo.
Strollers, wheelchairs, and Electric Conveyance Vehicles are available for rent with advanced notice.
