It’s time to celebrate the magic of Christmas at Disneyland Paris!

Disney’s Enchanted Christmas celebration lasts from 13 November 2021 to 9 January 2022. We’re going to go over some of the fun things to do for the Christmas season this year at Disneyland Paris. And we’ll also see how to save money on your trip.

Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade!

You’ll certainly want to watch the brand new Christmas parade, Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade! There are five huge floats in the parade, featuring some favorite characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Disney Princesses, Tinkerbell, Santa Claus, Stitch, Donald Duck, Pinocchio, and more. These fabulous floats will travel down Main Street USA and boast a fun Christmas tree design.

An exciting feature of this new holiday parade is that it actually takes place twice a day. You can enjoy the daytime version, and later be amazed by the hundreds of thousands of lights shining in the nighttime version.

Christmas Selfie Spots

Capture the perfect Christmas selfie with some beloved Disney characters at one of the following special locations:

  • Casey’s Corner Christmas Selfie Spot (Eeyore) – Main Street U.S.A.
  • The Goofy-est Christmas Selfie Spot (Goofy in a Santa Costume) – Frontierland
  • Happy Holiday Memories Selfie Spot (Chip & Dale) – Frontierland
  • Holiday Greeting time with Mickey and Friends Selfie Spot – Fantasyland
  • A Nightmare Before Christmas Selfie Spot (Jack Skellington) – Frontierland
  • Santa’s Magical Control Room (Santa Claus) – Discoveryland
  • Magical Christmas Selfie Moments – Toon Studio at Walt Disney Studios Park

Disney Hotels at Christmas

The festive fun isn’t limited to the parks! At Disney hotels, you’ll find cheerful decorations, Disney character photo opportunities, and more. You can also book rooms specially decorated for Christmas (with surprise gift packages for both adults and children) at Disney’s Newport Bay Club and Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel.

Seasonal Dining

There are a number of special seasonal dishes offered in the Disneyland Paris restaurants. This includes Christmas Yule Log, stuffed turkey, Minnie’s Christmas tartlet, gingerbread trees, and more. Vegan selections, such as pan-fried spelt with asparagus and morel mushrooms, will also be available.

Consider trying “Olaf’choc’o’neige”, which is a hot beverage that contains banana puree and whipped cream. And at resort bars, order a cocktail (with or without alcohol) in holiday colors.

You can book a table for a special culinary experience for Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve dinner, or Christmas Day or New Year’s Day brunch, with Chef’s Enchanting Festive Cuisine. These are traditional French festive dishes with a little Disney magic.

Shopping for Christmas

Who wouldn’t love a Christmas gift from Disneyland Paris?

A visit to the Disneyland Paris resort during the holiday season is a great opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done. You can find a lot of great gift ideas throughout the two parks and at Disney Village. For example, you can choose from a variety of plush toys, electric trains, stylish clothes, and much more.

You can also buy amazing Disney-themed Christmas items. Pick up a gold holiday edition Minnie ears headband. Buy a beautiful red and green Disneyland Paris holiday spirit jersey. Choose between a traditional Advent calendar or a new tea Advent calendar. Purchase a beautiful Christmas ornament to add to your tree at home. There are so many possibilities!

And be sure to check out La Boutique du Château and Merlin l’Enchanteur. Both of these stores are dedicated to Christmas decorations.

Christmas Shows

Let’s ‎Sing Christmas!

Head to Videopolis Theater in Discoveryland to watch this cheerful show. Disney friends in festive outfits will sing some of the most joyful holiday songs – and you can sing along, too!

A Funny, Snowy Winter

At the Production Courtyard in Walt Disney Studios Park, you can catch a performance of A Funny, Snowy Winter! Apparently, Donald Duck has failed to get ready for Christmas, so he asks Goofy to help him out. Of course, since Donald and Goofy are involved, things don’t exactly go according to plan. This humorous outdoor show is 25 minutes long.

Christmas Decorations

When it comes to Christmas decor at the Disneyland Paris resort, they go all out! The holiday decorations include 7 kilometers of garlands in the two theme parks and on the Christmas trees.

Speaking of Christmas trees, there are 78 real Christmas trees.  And you won’t want to miss (how could you) the majestic Christmas tree that’s 24 meters high and weighs 24 tons.

In preparation of the festivities, over 37,000 flowers were planted over 4 days by the Horticulture teams.
