Good news for everyone living in or visiting the San Diego, California area. The Enchanted Village Festival of Lights is back for its fifth year!
It starts tomorrow (Friday, December 16, 2022) and runs through December 22, 2022. It takes place over 8 acres at Noah Homes in Spring Valley, California (you can park, by the way, at Steele Canyon High School). The Enchanted Village Festival of Lights runs from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
This is a great festival for adults and children. You can walk through acres of gorgeously lit Christmas trees and light tunnels. There are over a million holiday lights at the event. There are also magical cottages, hundreds of giant candy canes, and festive holiday decorations. And you can even do more than just admire the decorations. There are even interactive displays so you can be involved with the holiday lights.
There will be great guests at the event. Starting with the big guy himself, of course. Yes, Santa Claus will be in attendance every night and you can get your picture with him. There will also be live entertainers and local food trucks with delicious food.
The entertainers and food trucks change each night. I’ll go over the schedule of events. And then I’ll tell you how you can save money on your ticket!

This is a Lights Before Dusk day! This means that the doors open at 4:00 PM. This is great for any guests who wish to visit by daylight, such as someone with sensitivities to lights, sounds, and crowds. But if this isn’t of interest to you and you want the whole experience, then you should visit after 5:00 PM.
