My family just loves Christmas Town at Busch Gardens theme park in Tampa, Florida! This is a holiday event that takes place from November 15, 2024, through January 5, 2024. And we love everything about this event. The holiday lights, the food, the shows, the train ride…

Holly Jolly Express
The train at Busch Gardens is always fun. But it takes on a new Christmas flavor during Christmas Town. You’ll still be able to see giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and more as you take the train. But you also get to enjoy singing along to your favorite Christmas songs! It’s also a great way to see the Christmas lights at night.
Santa’s North Pole Experience
Meet Santa in his workshop for a wonderful photo experience! Jolly elves will guide your to the big guy himself!
Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland
Santa’s not the only famous face here. Here’s a chance to not only meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer but his friends as well. This is a great photo opportunity!

There are also a lot of great seasonal shows that are a lot of fun.
Christmas On Ice
My favorite would have to be Christmas on Ice. It’s a really high-quality ice skating show set to great seasonal music. It is a show my whole family enjoyed. An added bonus? If it is hot or cold that day, you get to step inside at the Moroccan Palace Theater.
Holiday in the Sky Fireworks Show
I absolutely love fireworks at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. There’s something about seeing those fireworks with roller coasters in the background. I enjoy them at any time of the year, but it’s really neat they have fireworks set to classic holiday songs.
Elmo’s Christmas Wish
It wouldn’t be a Busch Gardens Christmas event without a Sesame Street show, right? Well, this show features Elmo along with other popular Sesame Street characters like Rosita, Cookie Monster, Grover, and Zoe. It features lots of great singing and dancing. You can find it at the Sesame Street Safari of Fun.

So you know how much fun Busch Gardens Tampa’s Food & Wine Festival is? Well, you can have that same kind of fun at Busch Gardens Tampa’s Christmas Festival is as well! They have markets all over Busch Gardens selling seasonal food and drinks.
I recommend trying the hot cocoa. You might think you wouldn’t need hot cocoa in Florida but trust me, last time I visited Christmas town I was cold!
But there are a lot of other great creative food options and holiday-themed specialty drinks.

Kick-Off to Christmas with Mix 100.7

Coca-Cola Caravan
The Coca-Cola Caravan will also be coming to Christmas Town on December 7, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, spreading holiday cheer!
