Wanting to stay at Disney’s Old Key West Resort?

You can save money on your stay at Old Key West Resort by taking advantage of a confirmed reservation from David’s Vacation Club Rentals!

You see, when a Disney Vacation Club member has already made a reservation but won’t be able to go, then you can pick up their reservation using David’s Vacation Club Rentals. The Disney Vacation Club, or DVC, is Disney’s timeshare program, but you don’t have to be a DVC member if you go through David’s.

Over the years, we’ve booked numerous confirmed reservations through David’s (including for Old Key West Resort), and it has saved our family so much money.

Let’s take a look at how you can do it!

Finding Old Key West Confirmed DVC Reservations

First, you’ll want to go to David’s Confirmed Reservations for Renting.

Next, under where it says Confirmed Reservations Filters, find where it says “Resort:” and choose “Old Key West” from the drop down menu.

Now, you can adjust the other filters depending on what you prefer. For example, if you’d like a 3 night stay, you can drag the ends of the “Nights:” filter so that you’re only looking at 3 night stays. If you want to go in April, you can use the drop down menu for “Month” next to “Check In:” to select “April”.

But if you simply want to find the cheapest Old Key West stay, then you won’t change those filters. Instead, next to “Sort:” you’ll choose “Sort by Total Cost (USD) – Lowest to Highest”.

Scroll down, and you’ll see all the available Old Key West stays, starting with the cheapest.

Right now, the cheapest is a one night stay in an Old Key West studio, which sleeps up to 4 adults, for August 27 to August 28. It’s available on David’s website for only $231.

For comparison, an Old Key West studio is not available for that date on Disney’s website. But for one day later, August 28 to August 29, an Old Key West studio on Disney’s website comes to a total of $477 for two adults. (It would cost even more if you had additional adults.)

I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather pay $231 than $477!

Renting Points for Old Key West

But what if you have specific dates in mind for your Disney vacation, and there aren’t any confirmed reservations for those dates?

Another way to save money at Old Key West is by submitting a specific request. You will need to submit a deposit of $105 when you make your request. If your request is filled, the $105 deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the stay. And if your request isn’t filled (such as if there is no availability), you can choose other dates/resorts or have the $105 refunded.

You can find out more about the rental process with this step by step guide.
