ICE! featuring Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” is at Gaylord National Resort this holiday season, and you can save 29% on a ticket with a coupon.
ICE! is one of the premier events at the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, Maryland. It is an event that doesn’t just come about each year. No, skilled ice carvers spend all year working on ICE! And the result are amazing holiday scenes and characters who come to life with amazing ice sculptures. In all, over two million pounds of ice are used. They’ll even provide you with a parka, since the event is kept at 9 degrees.
ICE! at the Gaylord National Resort should be really special this year. See, they change the theming of the show every year. This year’s theme is Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!”! This is a personal favorite Christmas story of mine. Back when I was a kid I used to check the book out over and over at my school’s library. So I am very excited for this theme. You’ll see ten scenes from the story and beloved characters like the Grinch, Max, and Cindy-Lou carved in ice.
All of this takes place at the beautiful Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. Its location in National Harbor, Maryland along the shores of the Potomac, downriver from Washington, D.C., makes it a great choice for a travel destination. You can stay there and enjoy seeing America’s capital city decorated for the holiday season.
And you can do it in an upscale luxury resort with great views of the Potomac River. The hotel has a lot of great features, like spacious rooms, a spa, a fitness center, an indoor pool, several restaurants and bars, and more. If you’d like to stay at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center when you go see ICE!, then check for a good rate here.
